Intraday malicious virus program: Win32.Saiboo.a

Behaviour:
This is a malicious virus program which spreads through fake QQ software (which is one of Chinese Instant Message software).
After being executed, the virus program shall infect standard QQ software, and other common software on infected computers. Also, the virus program can achieve auto-running without adding startup option on Windows register; so this makes the virus program has strong concealment character. So, while infected computer users run these infected common software, the virus program shall be loaded later on. Then the virus program shall check infected computer users’ privacy information, and steal users’ account information; and then send these records out to hackers.
So, this malicious virus program threatens computer users’ privacy security seriously.

April 29, 2010 there were 2,065,171 devices got malicious attack via malicious Webpage Horse Hanging tech, and RISING Virus Lab has intercepted 140,916 malicious hyperlinks with webpage Horse Hanging tech. And Rising Cloud Security got 61,631 reports from end users.

Solutions:
1. Install Rising Internet Security or Rising Anti-virus, personal firewall, update in time, and at least 3 times per day for updating Rising.
2. Install Rising PC Doctor, and choose “Leaks” function to check the leaks or vulnerabilities exist in your computer operation system, patch your computer system in a timely manner as many viruses spread by taking advantage of the system exploits or vulnerabilities.
3. Do not browse suspicious websites, and suspicious inserter; turn off or delete unnecessary system services.
4. Do not receive the suspicious file from QQ, MSN, Email, etc.
