Oct 17, 2008 one virus needs your attention. It is AB (Harm.Win32.VB.ab). The virus spreads through Internet, modifies all icon of exe files of computer system, also the virus forbids registry editor. It brings big trouble to computer daily use.

Description:
This is a virus with ruinous effect. The virus is written in VB language, and modifies all icons of exe files of computer system. If there is a file with name xm.ico in this virus files directory, the virus can modify EXE icon associated with EXE icon settings of registry. After modifying registry, the virus ends explorer.exe, and then restarts it to finish modification process. In addition, the virus forbids registry editor to prevent from manual modification to registry key value. And the virus modifies registry to achieve startup with system. It brings big trouble to computer daily use.
Anti-virus experts suggest that computer users take the following measures to protect against this virus:
1. Install Rising Anti-virus, personal firewall, update in time, and at least 3 times per day for updating Rising.
