Web Trojan Defense
Web Trojan Defense automatically blocks malicious web scripts and viruses and prevents them from spreading. You can enable a specialized behavior scan, shellcode defense and smart heuristic scan. When malicious code is detected you can configure your Rising software to directly block access to the infected webpage or make the decision yourself on a case by case base.



Advanced USB Protection
The USB/CD/DVD Monitor can automatically block viruses on USB Media, CD/DVD, and network drives. USB media have become a major threat to computer security. With the advanced Rising USB protection you will regain control over your USB ports and stop malware from sneaking into you computer. The Rising USB/CD/DVD Monitor will block suspicious activity from any USB media and from CDs/DVDs and network drives and alert you with a message box similar to the one displayed below. 



Malicious Behavior Interceptor
The Rising Malicious Behavior Interceptor monitors programs in the system for possible malicious behavior. When malicious behavior is detected, you can choose to have a message displayed and decide yourself how to proceed. After the end of processes, Rising Malicious Behavior Interceptor can scan for virus DNA.

The URL Alert blocks phishing and other malicious websites. The inbuilt blacklist protects against a wide range of malicious sites. Especially Chinese-language sites are hard to evaluate for many vendors. Our extensive blacklist gives you peace of mind while you surf in this interesting region
You can fine tune the protection by adding known safe websites to the Web Whitelist. Ban unwanted websites from your computer with a few mouse clicks by adding them to the Web Blacklist.



Advanced Botnet Protection
The Rising Outbound Flood Attack sensor gives you triple protection against botnets.  Malicious programs, so-called “Bots”, are programmed with the only task to take over control of normal computers and use these machines for malicious purposes, e.g. starting data flood attacks on other computers. Rising botnet protection can detect flood attacks with SYN (synchronize) packets, Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) flood attacks.
