Aug 14, 2007 there is one virus that requires your attention. Its name is Trojan.Win32.StartPage.aph, which will modify the default home page of your browser.

The virus will run in the background and modify the default home page of IE browser to the web page designated by the virus. It will bring internet users troubles, consume system resources, slow down the system and even crash the system.

Do not open suspicious mail and suspicious websites; turn off or delete unnecessary system services; patch the system in a timely manner as many viruses spread by taking advantage of the system exploits or vulnerabilities; install anti-virus software for real-time monitoring and protection; Open auto-protect function when accessing to the internet; Install personal firewall to prevent the loss of  password; Set up a complicated password for the administrators account.
