Sep 02, 2007 two viruses need your attention. They are Trojan.PSW.QQPass.fn and Trojan.Win32.StartPage.q. Trojan.PSW.QQPass.fn cheats users for their passwords. Trojan.Win32.StartPage.q modifies the default home page of the user's IE browser.

The virus can run in the background and modify the default home page of IE browser to the web page designated by the virus. It consumes system resources, slows down the computer system.

Do not open suspicious mail and suspicious websites; turn off or delete unnecessary system services; patch the system in a timely manner as many viruses spread by taking advantage of the system exploits or vulnerabilities; install anti-virus software for real-time monitoring and protection; Open auto-protect function when accessing to the internet; Install personal firewall to prevent the loss of password; Set up a complicated password for the administrators account.
