This virus is a C/C++ program. It will drop itself into C:\program files\office and the file name is office.exe. Users will think it as a Microsoft office file. Therefore, they will not delete it. It will also download other viruses, Trojans and malicious programs. All these may steal the user's account and password information. Backdoor.Win32.FireFly.k also can disable and destroy some antivirus software.

Do not open suspicious mail and suspicious websites; turn off or delete unnecessary system services; patch the system in a timely manner as many viruses spread by taking advantage of the system exploits or vulnerabilities; install anti-virus software for real-time monitoring and protection; Open auto-protect function when accessing to the internet; Install personal firewall to prevent the loss of  password; Set up a complicated password for the administrators account.
