Dec 21, 2007 one virus needs attention. It is Backdoor.Win32.PBot.a. This virus spreads through MSN messages. Infected computers will get controlled by hackers.

This is a backdoor program and will send messages like 'hola, My Christmas picture for you :)'  with the virus zip file photo2007-12.zip through MSN messenger. If the user opens it, his computer will get infected too. The virus can download other viruses and let the user's computer controlled by hackers.

Anti-virus experts suggest that computer users take the following measures to protect against this virus:

Do not open suspicious mail and suspicious websites; turn off or delete unnecessary system services; patch the system in a timely manner as many viruses spread by taking advantage of the system exploits or vulnerabilities; install anti-virus software for real-time monitoring and protection; Open auto-protect function when accessing to the internet; Install personal firewall to prevent the loss of  password; Set up a complicated password for the administrators account.
